BuddhaCare encourages Buddhists and interested people to appropriately study, practise, refine and promote the Buddha Dharma (Buddha’s teachings) in line with the contemporary changing world. BuddhaCare brings the Buddha Dharma and Applied Buddhism to the community through a variety of activities in charity, sustainable business development, education and training, environment, health care, disaster relief, ageing and disability, family and community services. BuddhaCare may play a facilitating and moderating role in the national and worldwide engaged Buddhism activities for effective mutual support and the sharing of resources among Buddhist organisations.
